Diamond Platnumz (Diamond), was born Nasibu Abdul Juma on 2nd October, 1989, and is a Bongo Flava recording artists and singer hailing from Tanzania.
History of Diamond:
Diamond is a practicing Muslim endorsing Tazania’s ruling political party – Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and its residential candidate; furthermore he also recorded a remix of his single titled CCM Tusonge Mbele – CCM Let’s Move Forward. Diamond is best known for his hit song, “Number One”. He took part in the Big Brother Africa 7 show in 2012 and has a strong following of admirers.
Additionally he is seen as being one of Tanzania’s most influential modern-day musical artists and boasts having the highest selling Tanzanian ringtones by mobile phone companies last year in addition to being the best paid artist in the African Great Lakes region.
